Welcome to the blog for the new feature film, “The Apple”. Based on the real life story of a man who perpetrated one of the greatest literary frauds ever about The Holocaust, Herman Rosenblat. A man who Oprah Winfrey said had the greatest love story ever told on her show until it was ripped to shreds in one of the most sensational and controversial stories of 2009! Was he a pathological liar motivated by greed and fame or a man trapped in his own private “Life is Beautiful” shattered by the demons of the horror he endured? A new script by Ivo Marloh tells the inside story of Herman Rosenblat told through the eyes of his real life producer Harris Salomon. Similar to Al Pacino in the Oscar winning film “The Insider”, “The Apple” takes us inside the world of the producer and his subject as they criss cross the world in preparation for the filming of the greatest love story ever told . How could a man who lost his mother, father and his world to The Holocaust hoodwink his producer, his wife and the planet? The answer is, “The Apple”.

Producer Harris Salomon and Herman Rosenblat
In Uncategorized on April 8, 2010 at 4:44 AMQuestion: Who is Abi Sirokh?
In Who is Abi Sirokh? on April 7, 2010 at 9:30 PMMoroccan born Abi Sirokh is a self styled producer based in London. Sirokh worked as Harris Salomon’s co producer for five years in development for the original film about Herman Rosenblat, “The Fence”. Mr. Sirokh once told Salomon if my father knew I was working on a film about a jew “he’d kill me”. With no office and no permanent home (he once claimed to live with “7 brothers”), Sirokh apparently did business from a mobile phone somewhere in London. Even though he called himself a “producer” Sirokh admitted to Salomon he had been unemployed for years and collected British government public assistance checks, otherwise known as welfare. Salomon often suspected he worked as a taxi driver, delivery man or shadowy middle east middleman when not trying to be a producer. After the Rosenblat hoax broke Sirokh stole the client list of Atlantic Overseas Pictures and is now working for AOP’s former co producer and partner Gabor Koltai and his company called Wyvern Images. He also started his own company with clients poached from AOP called Greenlight Movies apparently run off a laptop and a mobile phone. It seems Koltai does not pay him as Sirokh has recently responded to several blind box classified ads posted by Salomon seeking producer candidates. Litigation is pending against Sirokh as is his father’s wrath. His character in the new film, “The Apple” is based on real events.
